For turmeric tea I use a large mug or glass
Use a heaped teaspoon of turmeric powder like you use in cooking, of course it can be fresh from the root too - grate it small if in root form.
Then a small sprinkle of black salt - I can’t remember what but it helps activate something within in.
A sprinkle of pink salt helps with electrolyte absorption too An optional tiny sprinkle of cayenne pepper but you might want to skip that to start Then you put boiling hot water in and stir thoroughly.
Cover with something like a small plate for 2 or 3 minutes to help it steep
Then once you add in cool water to make it warm drinking temperature you can add in juice of half a fresh squeezed lemon and a large teaspoon of raw honey
You add it in after so the heat doesn’t harm the goodness in the honey and the lemon.
Then keep the spoon and stir as you drink
An added option is I often add in just like a tip of a teaspoon of butter or ghee (which are both good for you especially ghee)
Because it greatly helps with absorption and fat is so good for you despite what all the Mainstream says.
So long story short lol

- Half a fresh squeezed lemon
- Large teaspoon of honey
- Optional Tiny sprinkle of cayenne
- Optional tip of a teaspoon of ghee or butter
- And stir before every sip.
